The Enervex MFD-S Manual Fireplace Damper for RSHT 014 and RSHT 016 is designed for solid fuel fireplaces. It prevents excess heat from escaping through the chimney when the fireplace is not in use. It also prevents backdraft down the chimney. It is a manually operated, gravity-activated damper for round chimneys at the chimney top. It operates easily via a pull chain and requires no power.
